2026 Next steps

Please navigate to the page specific to boys or girls to view our 2026 Rise 8 Teams.

For anyone who doesn’t find their name on the list, or on the team they were hoping for, please keep an eye out for information about summer skills clinics. Rise 8 Basketball will be partnering with the MAC here in Carson City to help young players build their skillset. A tryout for young players does not determine their future in basketball so continue playing and working to improve. Please also check out Shoot 360 Basketball in Reno for additional skill development opportunities.

Important next steps for our teams:

1. Join the Rise 8 group on Band. With the way the app is setup, this link will expire; so please join the group quickly.

2. Review the practice schedule. There have been two practice schedule changes since the parent meeting so please check closely.

3. Attend the first practice (either Monday 3/9 or Tuesday 3/10) and come ready to work! Parents, make sure you introduce yourself to your child’s coach.

4. Keep an eye out for communication regarding payment.

5. To take advantage of Rise 8’s partnership with Shoot 360 Basketball, sign up for your first free workout before the March 23rd payment deadline.
